Problem with the offical VDX.exe was that the touchpad button wasn't supported, however I wrote a bit with the developer and he made a version for us, now we can enjoy all the PS4 titles on the Win :)

Launch VDX (XInput to ViGEm sample application) and you should see Player 1 Status: Connected. From its next dropdown list, select DualShock 4 Controller as Emulation type and click Connect (you will see player 2 status connected as well, but don't worry about it). They never tried implementing support for them in the past because it wasn't possible to "hide" XInput devices, therefore it was basically guaranteed you'd suffer from the double input issue (game picking both real and virtual xbox controllers). You will see that the remote play app thinks its 6.0 but if you go windows/ app list its actually 5.5 VDX.exe and vigembus drivers ViGEmClient - buildbot.vigem.org > builds > ViGEmClient Launch VDX / select DS 4 Launch remote play, local or internet works perfectly
Now run the VDX_x64 or VDX program which has an icon of a game controller. After you run VDX you should see this window pop-up. Notice the first dropdown will be XBox 360 Controller by default, change it to DualShock 4 Controller like shown in the image. Now flick your GPD Win/ Win 2 to XBox controller mode (right side).
